Description Somebody walked in off the street, went into the temporarily unmanned reception area of our office, and took my iPhone off the receptionist\'s desk. The person of interest was captured on film by our building\'s security and has been flagged in the downtown core as being in the vicinity of several businesses when things have gone missing. He has never been caught in the act but has been in enough places at the correct moments that it cannot be a coincidence. It is a matter of time until his deeds catch up with him. He is a dark-skinned male in his 30s, tall and slim, usually in casual clothes in what should be a very office-formal environment. Several people who have encountered him have described him as seeming \"off\" and \"wrong,\" like that feeling you get when someone sketchy is behind you in an alley. If you see him please alert security as the VPD are also aware of his suspected activities. Then direct whoever attends to this site and this particular ad. I\'ve reported my incident to police and have a case file number and I\'ve also alerted Apple and my mobile service provider. The wallpaper is a photo of a black dog with a white chest sitting on a beige couch with a bald Asian guy. The phone was in a black metal clam-shell case and the screen had a reflective protector on it. No scratches, no marks, it was in perfect condition. It\'s my birthday in two weeks, the iPhone was less than two months old, and I can\'t afford to buy another cell phone, let alone an iPhone. It sucks but I\'m glad that it was all he got away with. However, it\'d be really nice to get this dirtbag off the street so that he can\'t ruin anyone else\'s day by jacking their belongings.
